Everyone has an app these days.
But Roadtrippers, a national travel company based in Over-the-Rhine, may be the first start-up in Cincinnati to release an app for the brand new Apple Watch.
Roadtrippers is a tech travel company that helps you maximize your adventures, through web, mobile and Apple Watch platforms, which utilize both digital maps as a guide for the traveler.

Roadtrippers has compiled over 3 million searchable “points of interest” like restaurants, scenic spots, hidden spaces, hotels or museums. The app allows you can search interesting spots within 10 miles of your location, or plot your travel route and plan ahead.
With the iWatch app, Roadtrippers hopes to make even walking your hometown more of an adventure.
It’s simple. You’ll open the app to the “concierge” home screen, already tailored to the time of day. (Say it’s early morning, one of the first categories that will pop up will be “Breakfast spots.”)
Other categories that may pop up are things like “Popular,” “Fuel Up,” “Coffee,” and “Places to Walk.”
“We like to say, ‘You’re always three minutes away from something interesting,'” said Natalie Akers, chief of staff at Roadtrippers.
All content on Roadtrippers is hand-curated. That means every point of interest listed is researched and written by Roadtrippers’ staff.
